Competitions
Run a knockout.
A draw, a bracket and place games, for a tournament where the loser goes home.
Choose the format.
- In a new competition, under How is it played?, choose Knockout, or Groups, then knockout.
- Add your divisions and clubs as usual. A knockout adds one more question: The draw.
Make the draw.
- Who plays whom? has a page for each division. Press Draw at random, or press a club and then its place.
- Clear starts again. You can change the draw until the first game.
- A bracket needs a full round. With 12 clubs it needs 16 places, so 8 clubs play a first round and 4 go straight through. An empty place says Bye.
- Also play for sets the place games: Third place only, Play for every place or No place games.
With groups first.
Choose how many groups and how many clubs go through. The knockout waits for its places.
During the tournament.
A knockout division's page shows its bracket, not a table.
