The rugby league scoreboard, from kick-off to the hooter.

Eighty minutes, and the only clock is in the stand.

Community rugby league is played at grounds where the scoreboard, if there is one, needs a volunteer to flip the numbers. The time is on the referee's watch and the sin-bin on somebody else's. Parents along the fence hear "ten minutes left" from a coach and hope it is right. When the game is over, someone still has to ring the result through.

How rugby league is scored in WR Score.

A game is two halves of 40 minutes, the clock counting up. The game ends after the second half, and a draw stands.

On the Scoreboard each side has a Score key with presses for 4, 2 and 1 points, and a minus for corrections. A Half key moves the game on or back, and the clock starts and stops on the board, with corrections beside it.

The board shows the score, the clock and the half across its main row. Its second row holds each side's sin-bin, with the player's number and the time. Each squad has a sheet of 17 rows: every player's number and the points they scored.

When the hooter goes, print the team sheet, the scoresheet and the result sheet, or a blank scoresheet.

Your sponsor

On every screen at the ground.

Hall screens put the game on the clubhouse TV, an LED wall behind the posts or the screen in the social club, in your club's colours and whatever shape the screen is. At half-time and when play stops, your sponsors come on, and each airing is kept in a sponsor list. If the reading pauses, the last score stays up, marked held. The board is never blank.

On the stream.

A rugby league scorebug with the score, the clock and the sin-bin. Line-ups before kick-off, lower thirds, player cards and statistics, ready for OBS, vMix and CasparCG. With Live Stream, WR Score does the broadcast itself: a camera or capture card, the score on the picture, to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or any platform over RTMP or SRT.

Youth rugby league often cannot be filmed. Radio puts the game on air with commentary alone, or with the live scoreboard as the picture.

Run the league and the junior festival.

Keep your clubs, teams, players and match officials in one place. Build a league, run a cup in groups, and finish with a knockout. The table works itself out from final scores with the sport's points and tie-breaks, and the bracket carries each winner on by itself. At a junior festival, the day by pitch shows every kick-off in order.

Posts makes a picture of the result or the league ladder in your competition's look, in four social sizes, and nothing is posted automatically.

Time back, more to offer.

Community rugby league relies on a handful of people: the secretary, the kit person, the coach writing the report on a Sunday night. WR Score takes the timing and the retyping off them. The club can offer a scoreboard the whole ground can read, a stream for former players who moved away, and screens local sponsors can be seen on.

The camera.

The camera reads basketball boards today. For the other 49 sports, WR Score keeps the score by hand, and OCR — a camera reads the scoreboard your hall already has — comes sport by sport as we record each sport's boards.
